Most failed epoxy floors didn't fail because of the epoxy.
They failed because the slab underneath had moisture in it, or the surface was never properly prepared, or the cracks were coated over instead of repaired. The coating then lifts, blisters or peels — usually within the first year — and the building owner pays twice.
Because our background is waterproofing and concrete repair, the substrate work is in-house we're not applying a coating and hoping the slab holds up.

Before we quote a floor coating, we check what will determine whether it lasts.

A coating specified for a dry storage warehouse will not survive in a food production area with hot wash-down. Matching the system to the real working conditions is most of the job.

PU and PU Screed Flooring
Polyurethane systems handle what epoxy struggles with: thermal shock and heavy wash-down.
PU screed is the standard choice for food processing, central kitchens and cold stores, where floors face hot water cleaning, steam, fats and acids. It tolerates temperature swings that would crack an epoxy floor.
PU also offers more flexibility, which suits floors with minor movement.
Polyurea Coatings
Polyurea is spray-applied, cures in seconds and builds a thick, seamless, highly elastic membrane.
It's used where downtime has to be minimal or where the surface needs both waterproofing and abrasion resistance decks, bunds, tank farms, plant areas and containment.
Fast curing is the main advantage: a working area can often return to service the same day rather than after several days of cure.

Car Park & Deck Coating
Car park decks combine everything difficult about flooring and waterproofing in one structure: vehicle traffic, oil and fuel, thermal movement, and water that has to be kept out of the level below.

Survey and mark out - All delaminated areas, including sound areas that fail hammer testing.
Break out - Defective concrete back to sound material and behind reinforcement.
Clean and treat rebar - Replace severely corroded bars where needed.
Apply corrosion protection - Protect exposed steel before reinstatement.
Reinstate - Repair mortar to the specified system.
Patching over corroded rebar without treating the steel is the most common reason concrete repairs come back within a year.
Crack Injection & Expansion Joint Treatment
Cracks are assessed before treatment an active, water-carrying crack and a dormant structural crack need different solutions.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does epoxy flooring cost per square metre in the UAE?
It depends far more on the substrate than the coating. A sound, clean slab needing a straightforward high-build epoxy prices very differently from a floor requiring grinding, crack repair, levelling and a heavy-duty screed. We survey first and quote the actual scope.
Why did my epoxy floor peel or bubble?
Almost always one of three things: moisture in the slab that wasn't tested for, inadequate surface preparation, or a coating applied over contamination or an old failing coating. All three are preparation issues, not product issues. We test before recommending anything.
Epoxy or PU, which is better for my warehouse?
Epoxy for dry, abrasion-heavy environments. PU screed where there's hot water wash-down, steam or significant temperature change, such as food production and cold stores. The wrong choice usually shows up as cracking or delamination within the first year.
Can you coat over an existing epoxy floor?
Sometimes — if the existing coating is well bonded and can be mechanically prepared. If it's already lifting, it has to come off. Coating over a failing floor transfers the failure to the new surface.
Do I have to shut my warehouse down?
Not necessarily. Work can usually be phased bay by bay or section by section so operations continue. Polyurea systems help where downtime is critical, since return-to-service is much faster.
How long before we can use the floor?
It depends on the system and ambient conditions. Foot traffic typically returns before vehicle traffic, and full chemical resistance develops after full cure. We give specific times for the specified system before work starts.
Do you handle concrete repair as well as coating?
Yes — concrete repair, crack injection and joint treatment are in-house. That's the main reason our floors don't fail at the substrate.
